Pike on stamps 4

Those who have been following my blog for a while, know that I collect stamps with pike on it. And as I’ve mentioned before, there aren’t a lot of them out there. So the more stamps you find, the harder it gets.

These are the ones I found since my last post.

 

This is a nice one from Switzerland.

 

 One from the Netherlands

 

From Finland

 

From Mongolia

 

And one from Sweden

This next stamp I already had, but now I found a first day cover of it.

And the same stamp on what they call a ‘maximum card’.

And this last one I like a lot, a maximum card from the Aland Islands.

My collection of pike on stamps, is growing only very slowly (they are very hard to find), but every now and then I find something interesting. Like this first day cover of a French stamp.

Pike on stamps 2

A while ago, I did a first post of a hobby within my hobby, which is collecting pike on stamps. There are only very few of them in the world, so they are very hard to find. I‘ve only found ten different ones so far. The first six, you can see when you click the label stamps (on the bottom of this post or with the other labels on the right).

And these are the four new ones I’ve found since that last post.

So little by little, it’s starting to look like a collection. If there is anyone out there who can help me with finding some more, please send me a mail, and maybe we can work something out.

Pike on stamps

I’ve started a new hobby within my hobby, collecting pike on stamps.

There aren’t so many out there though, so they are a little hard to get. I’ve managed to find six so far, but I will update this post as soon as I find some more.

If there is anyone who can help me with finding some more of these, please let me know…

I collect trout, perch, pikeperch (zander, walleye), flies and fly-fishing (in general) on stamps as well.
