The lonesome piker on Vimeo

A little while ago, Bruce Deschamps from Fresh Waters Journal (check it out on my blog list), asked me to join the Fly Tying Channel he started on Vimeo, so I did.

I even bought me a new toy, but I didn’t do much with it yet.

So today my private cameraman joined me to a nice fishing water (thanks again dad!), and we did some experiments.

Back at home, I did a tutorial on a Tandem Flash Fly, and then I tried to edit my first homemade video. So don’t be to hard on me with your criticism (I ‘m no Steven Spielberg), but it was a lot of fun, so I will definitely make some more in the future.

Wonderful Stefaan, very good tutorial and nice tying, simple and so effective. Same as Xavier, I've liked the video on the swimming action very much!

Hi Stefaan!
Thanks again for the good words and for joining the channel!
I am sure your great tying skills will be useful to the pike fly fishing community!

Keep it up!

Thanks a lot for the kind words, guys! I have to admit that I was a little self-doubting, when I posted it, but with all the positive reactions I’ve received, there will definitely be more videos in the future. And I’ll try to add the action of the fly each time I do a tutorial.
