Pike flies

A couple of nights back, I (finally) tied a Bullhead (the list of flies that I still have to try is getting endless). I tested it yesterday, and I must say that there are only a few flies that have an action in the water like this one (this is a genuine fluff jerkbait).
It is really heavy when you pull it out of the water, but with one backcast, all of the water (and weight) is gone.

You can find a great tutorial of a Bullhead by Dave Lindsay on www.spanglefish.com/pikeandpredatorfishingflies (and lots of other interesting stuff).

I will be tying a lot more of these, although I will use a shorter hook than an Aberdeen.
