The moment I wanted to tie another Bullhead, I started wondering why I should make the tail with the same material as the head. So I didn’t.
- I started with some bucktail around the hook shank
- then some Krystal Flash on top- saddle hackles
- and the head is polypropylene fibre (cut into shape), with some homemade epoxy eyes.
I really like this polypropylene fibre. It’s easy to work with and it doesn’t absorb any water.
